Punxsutawney Phil predicts 6 more weeks of winter.
Punxsutawney (puhnk-suh-TAW'-nee) Phil has emerged to see his shadow before people in Pennsylvania, meaning winter will last another six weeks.
A U.S.A tradition held every year on Feb. 02. If Punxsutawney Phil (the Ground Hog) comes out of his hole and sees his shadow it is predicted that we will have 6 more weeks of winter.
Dude, the whole groundhog thing is just a myth. Too bad the groundhog didn't bite the person holding him, it would make me laugh. Taking on the world on one core and killing everything else on the other core
Actually there is some science to back it up. For example all animals can tell when winter comes before we do. All animals also prepare for winter better than we do. Why is that ? Well because animals live out in the outdoors,there not caught up with there own lives living inside a nice warm house blabbing on a cellphone or something.
So there is more to it than just being a myth and you'll find that there is some truth to many myths.
